Division 3: Boat from 12:45 - Race starts 13:45

Directions/Location

The event is located at Salford Quays. Between the Holiday Inn Express - Quays, Waterfront Quay, Salford, Manchester M50 3XW and Agecroft Rowing Club at the Water Sports Centre, 15 The Quays, Salford Quays M50 2SG
See below for both trailer and car parking instructions.
Follow the instructions of the marshals when you arrive at Salford Quays.
The rowing club is also a short walk from several Metrolink stops, connected to the national rail network.

Parking Instructions

Trailer Parking:

Exact details to be agreed nearer the time.
The majority of trailers are to park in the laybys on Waterfront Quay, and the car parks for Magnetic House on the left, opposite the Holiday Inn Express (postcode is: M50 3XW).

Car Parking:

Cars should be parked in the car park for Laser House (both sides) at the end of Waterfront Quay, by the mini-roundabout (also use postcode: M50 3XW).
There is no car parking at the club.
Please remove all litter from the car parks on departure.

Weather Update

We are monitoring the weather for Saturday. Based on the current forecast, we anticipate that the event will run as normal.

If the conditions on the day warrant it, the course may be shortened, and/or restricted to older competitors due to safety considerations.
Clubs should ensure that all competitors are competent to race in the conditions encountered on the day.
Competitors must be suitably dressed for the wet and windy conditions when on the water, marshalling and racing.

Other Useful Updates

No eights are to be assembled on the Holiday Inn side. Please bring sections over the footbridge and assemble on the clubhouse side.
A safety video is available on this page. All coxes/steers-persons should view this.
The main points of this briefing are printed on the back of competitors' boat numbers.
Please boat quickly and promptly from 08.25 for Div 1.
For the divisions to go off on time, we need smooth-running boats. Please help Juniors and crew boats as necessary.
Div 2 boats from 10:10, Div 3 from 12.30 and Div 4 from 14.30. These times are tight for getting up the course and marshalling.
Please familiarise yourselves with the course map and circulation pattern (see documents below).
