The fastest in the North

Wallingford Regatta 2019

Wallingford Regatta proved a successful day out for Agecroft, with two overall wins and all entries qualifying for their finals. 
The morning saw a dominant performance from the W Club 8+. Qualifying with the fastest time out of all heats, they won their final comfortably, leading from start to finish.
The W Challenge 4- took second in their heat, taking third in the final behind two strong Thames crews.
A crew also entered the W Club 4-. After a comfortable heat win, they took second in the final, narrowly missing out on first to City of Cambridge.
The afternoon’s racing saw the W Club 4+ win their heat. They went onto win their final, also leading from start to finish.
In the Challenge 1x, Sean Szekely did well to qualify to the final. He placed sixth overall out of a fast field of scullers
