Founded in 1861, Agecroft Rowing Club is one of the oldest open membership rowing clubs in the world. We have a wide variety of rowers of different abilities, ambitions and ages.
With a purpose-built facility on Salford Quays and a large fleet of boats, Agecroft Rowing Club caters to those who wish to succeed at rowing, from the Learn to Row course offered to complete novices, to potential Olympians through the World Class Start program. We are home to Salford University Boat Club and next door to the Salford Watersports Centre.
We also have a range of sponsorship opportunities which we would love you to take a look at and help our club to grow.
COVID-19
Update as at 05 January 2021: Following the recent Government announcement and in line with British Rowing Guidance, the club and all its facilities are currently closed. Please stay safe in these challenging times.
