Founded in 1861, Agecroft Rowing Club is one of the oldest open membership rowing clubs in the world. We have a wide variety of rowers of different abilities, ambitions and ages.
With a purpose-built facility on Salford Quays and a large fleet of modern boats - including 6 Filippi eights and 6 Filippi fours, Agecroft Rowing Club caters to those who wish to succeed at rowing, from the Learn to Row course offered to complete novices, to potential Olympians through the World Class Start program. We are home to Salford University Boat Club and next door to the Salford Watersports Centre.
