Salford University Boat Club

Agecroft is proud to host Salford University Boat Club here at our clubhouse on Salford Quays.

Salford University Boat Club was founded in 1965 by Dave Stocker & Neil McDonald. After numerous moves around the Greater Manchester area the club settled on the Salford Quays.  Members, all from the University of Salford, can be regularly seen rowing the water in the Quays, venturing up towards the Lowry Hotel and further afield.

The club has a number of male and female members, fielding crews of each gender in a number of races around the country each year.

New intakes to the club are usually received in September, although the club is open to new members joining throughout the year, regardless of previous experience.   Anyone joining the club can expect to make new friends, maintain or improve their fitness, learn how to row and to enjoy themselves on great socials.

For more information on how to join, please don't hesitate to get in contact with the club via their Facebook page.
