​Go Row Indoor

Agecroft Rowing Club is pleased to announce the launch of its Go Row Indoor programme.

This is an indoor rowing programme aimed at all levels and abilities, using the excellent facilities at the club, based next to the Salford Watersports Centre in Salford Quays. 

Linked to British Rowing, this indoor rowing programme aims to get everyone rowing, whether for fun, fitness, or competition, whatever indoor rowing machine you use.

With eight instructors ready to take the following classes:
  • Beginner: Wednesday & Friday 4.30pm-5.30pm, Saturday & Sunday 3pm-4pm
  • Intermediate: Saturday & Sunday 4pm-5pm

How much is a class and how do I book?
Classes are £8.50 each. To get started:
  1. Book your classes via the Spond mobile app. Download at: App Store / Google Play.
  2. Once you have created your account: Enter group code KWRJB
  3. Complete your details and request to join the group.
  4. Once your request has been approved, click on the session you would like to join.
  5. Click attend and pay!

What do I wear?
  • Normal gym attire is fine. I.e. shorts or leggings, comfortable top and trainers.

Are there any requirements for this course?
  • The course is available to adults 18+.

Where is Agecroft Rowing Club?
  • The location is right next to the Watersports Centre at Salford Quays, with good access to bus and tram stops. Access to the gym (with the ergo rowing machines) is via the outdoor stairs, which are signposted. 

What are my transport options?
  • Tram: The club is just a short walk from the Salford Quays Metrolink station on the Eccles and Media City line.
  • Car: Exit the M60 at junction 12 and follow the M602 to junction 3. Take the 3rd exit on the roundabout (A5063) and follow the signs to Salford Quays. Parking is available at the Holiday Inn or Lowry Centre.
